Built in 1915, the former Entergy power plant in Baton Rouge’s Mid-City has been transformed by Buquet & LeBlanc and DNA Associates into Electric Depot – a vibrant mixed-use development that blends historic preservation with modern amenities. Buquet & LeBlanc played a key role in redeveloping the six-acre site, converting the century-old industrial space into over 30,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, office, and entertainment space. The project features Red Stick Social, residential apartments, wellness studios, and a central courtyard known as Power Alley, now serving as a dynamic social and cultural hub that contributes to the revitalization of the surrounding community.
