This new 6,500-square-foot facility is designed to enhance the guest experience and serve as a gateway to the 440-acre Burden property in the heart of Baton Rouge. The Center includes a welcoming lobby, a retail gift shop, and a flexible event space to accommodate a variety of programs and gatherings. Serving as the entry point to the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens, the LSU Rural Life Museum, and Windrush Gardens, the facility provides visitors with orientation to the site while sharing the rich history of the Burden family and property.
